Every great brand has an origin story. Ours starts with Midge, a four-legged food critic who turned her nose up at nearly every store-bought treat. After struggling to find treats that were both delicious and eco-conscious, we took matters into our own hands and headed to the kitchen. Using simple, wholesome ingredients, we started baking from scratch, and even Midge couldn’t get enough.
The brand is named in honor of Maggie, the sweet girl who came before Midge and left paw prints on our hearts.
Maggie May’s is built on four core values: Quality ingredients, pet wellness, sustainability, and community connection. In practice, that means:
- Ingredients sourced from local farms here in the Hudson Valley
- Preservative-free treats made with whole foods, no fillers
- Compostable or recyclable packaging to minimize our environmental impact
- Donating a portion of every sale to animal rescues
Our goal is to deliver a taste of happiness, one paw at a time.
Today Midge proudly serves as our Chief Tasting Officer, personally approving every recipe before it ever reaches your pup. Her standards are high, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
